We hope you are well and safe as we head into the holidays. As you know, EME filed an appeal to the 1st Circuit Court of Appeals in Boston this summer. Then we filed a “Petition for a Writ of Certiorari” in the U.S. Supreme Court, asking them to hear the case prior to a decision by the 1st Circuit Court of Appeals. But the Supreme Court made the decision not to accept the case early, and they sent the case back down to the 1st Circuit Court of Appeals. EME’s brief and a new Amici Curiae Brief are due to be filed on December 3, 2020 in the 1st Circuit.
This is an opportunity to invite additional Amici to participate in this historic case. If anyone in your network would want to be a part of this, please feel free to ask them to join our case as an Amici. Deadline is on or before Monday, November 30th at 9pm PST for any new Amici who want to be added to this next Amici Curiae Brief.
