“EQUAL MEANS EQUAL is heartened to see the Equal Rights Amendment being discussed on the national stage, thanks to Congressman Nadler for his leadership and support. It is urgent to raise public awareness and consciousness of this critical amendment.  We are so close to full ratification – only one state (and most recently in Viriginia– only ONE VOTE) away.

We urge all unratified state legislatures to pull the ERA out of committee and put it on their floors for a full vote.  While Nevada and Illinois recently ratified, we are still one state short of the 38 states needed to ratify a constitutional amendment and that state will make herstory.” – Kamala Lopez, EME Executive Director.

EME Co-Director Natalie White will attend the D.C. hearings where Nevada Senator Pat Spearman & Actress/Activist Patricia Arquette will be witnesses in favor of ERA ☺ along with others.

With love and thanks,
