TIME TO COME TOGETHER TO FIGHT FOR THE ERA!
WE HAVE SO LITTLE TIME LEFT — BUT WE CAN DO IT.
On January 20th, a new administration will take over the U.S. Government and the chance for the ERA to be published and legally adopted, and for the work of millions of women and our allies over the past century to be respected, decreases dramatically.
While many have been shocked, dismayed and dejected, now is not the time to give up.
In fact, it is absolutely critical that we put as much energy as possible towards finishing the job now, while we still have the chance.
After the results of the recent elections, multiple organizations and influential people have joined EQUAL MEANS EQUAL
to demand that the U.S. Government publish the amendment immediately.
Please support all efforts to exert pressure on President Biden to publish the ERA now
and protect the human rights of women, girls and LGBTQ people.

Two youth-based feminist organizations, Young Feminist Party and The Feminist Front, are organizing to push for ERA publication on multiple fronts. Women’s March National has FINALLY come on board to push for the ERA.
EQUAL MEANS EQUAL has been lobbying Women’s March since 2016, when they were planning their first national march, to explain how the ERA addressed so many of the issues that were concerning their constituency, but we were consistently and forcefully rebuffed. While several of the local chapters included ERA advocacy over the years, there was unknown resistance to fighting for the amendment on the national level — until now.
